Jon & Jo. These two… What a day we had!
Jonathon contacted me several months ago all the way from England… Jon was after a Sydney photographer + photography package. After a series of emails awkwardly written from my iPhone, Jon and Jo decided that I would be the one to shoot their wedding in Sydney – I humbly accepted.
I must add, I’ve been incredibly busy lately, so excuse my tardiness.
Included in my wedding photography package is a short pre-wedding shoot. One late afternoon not too long ago, Jon, Jo and I set off to Palm Beach to see what sort of mischief we could get up to…
These two were married on May 05 this year, however you will learn all about that in my next post! We had 4 days to fit in the shoot after Jon arrived on May 01 (somewhat jet-lagged, and terrified of Australian wild-life I might add). After interrupting a Home & Away shoot with my obnoxiously bright yellow car, we managed to avoid the poisonous snakes, spiders and drop-bears without a problem while getting to know each other. We talked and talked and talked and photog’d and laughed.
Shot on a 5D MK2 with a Sigma 50 F/1.4 and a 24-70 F/2.8L.
I had so much fun with you two – you were smiles, laughter, cuddles and kisses all afternoon long and you made shooting a dream! Thank you for the afternoon and don’t forget to check back soon to see your wedding photos!
